Justice and Diversity Center, San Francisco, CA
March 2023-Present
Conduct intakes and interviews with Arabic-speaking clients. Interpret client meetings from Arabic to English serving as a facilitator for seamless communication between the organization and clients. Translate court records, informational sheets, and client documents from Arabic to English.
Baker McKenzie, Bahrain
August 2023
Wrote legal memos supporting senior attorneys and drafted client letters and contracts. Analyzed and researched relevant case law for ongoing cases and managed client files and databases.
Las Americas Immigration Advocacy Center, El Paso, TX
March 2023
Conducted client interviews in Spanish and Arabic for intakes. Drafted summaries of client legal issues and facts. Provided referrals to attorneys and organizations for further legal assistance. Observed immigration court proceedings, analyzing and documenting procedural bias.
National Lawyers Guild, San Francisco, CA

Collaborated with Bay Area law students and immigration attorneys to promote the Immigration Court Observation Program. Coordinated informational events at various universities and drafted relevant communications.
